Our New Focus

We are streamlining our site so that we can focus on displaying and showcasing your favorite songs that you manually add. We believe this is a much more practical and useful aspect of Like.fm and we hope you will join us on this path.

Shutting Down Music Tracking

This is notice that we are planning to shut down the "old" parts of Like.fm. The "old" parts of Like.fm are the parts that focus on displaying and collecting your music listening activity, commonly referred to as scrobbling.

In order to provide the best possible experience for our new focus, we can no longer spend time and resources maintaining the desktop clients or browser clients for the purposes of tracking music, or provide and maintain the old interfaces for that purpose.

Existing Users Can Still Track Music

Please note that if you already have Like.fm setup tracking your music, your data will continue to be collected and saved, and we will be implementing an alternative, simpler interface for viewing your history. However, since we will not be maintaining any of those features they cannot be guaranteed to work properly. You can download your music data from the settings page.
